Stop! Are you sure you know where you are going?

Today's world is full of change, hurry, things to do and buy, and pressure to succeed - even more so in the midst of the worldwide financial crisis. It is all too easy to forget who we are and where we are going amidst the rush to find a quick fix through buying things, or through drink or drugs. At the same time, events such as the ongoing tragedy in Zimbabwe, and violence in Darfur, Palestine, Afghanistan and so many other places in the world, make us wonder whether the human race has any hope for improvement, and whether we care for those less well off than ourselves at all. 

But it needn't be so! Please take a few moments to reflect on your past, and on your present:

Does your life have any real meaning? 
Do you feel connected to the world around you? 
What would make the quality of your life improve?
Do you want to make a difference in this world for others?

There is more to life than meets the eye, and the Christian story and lifestyle is more relevant to the 21st century than you might think.
